Horse Show

The greatest four days of my life. Here are two videos;

We qualified to move up to training level :D
Wisey was a show stopper and tons of people came up and said  how adorable he was. We also ran into his breeders and half brother. Here are them next to each other, they look A LOT alike.

Sadie and Ann competed against us (Sadie is Wisey's girlfriend) and neither of us are overly competitive so it was fun :D Here she is:

HAFLINGERS EVERYWHERE :) I also met the sweetest girl ever, Jessie. She was competing in the upper levels with her horse Dutch and she was going to ride Wisey if I was too sick. She is amazing and Wisey liked her a lot.

Most exciting part was probably when Wisey got super excited and decided to do a "victory lap" and we cantered around the arena four or five times before Cathy got him to stop. We scratched that class :P
I could literally write about it forever. It was amazing. Absolutely amazing. I want to do this for a living. I really do.

Dressage Training

One week until the show! WHEW! It has been a long road, and I can't really believe we made it. Well, Wisey making it was a  given. More me being too sick to practice and whatnot. But that isn't the point - the point is WE ARE ALMOST READY! We have all the clothing/equipment except a hairnet but that shouldn't be hard to get. I just need to polish the tack, give Wisey a bath the day before, and memorize the end of the second test...xP and then RIDE.
We had a lesson today and we did better than we ever have before. We pulled off both tests really well and I didn't get sick halfway through the lesson - which is a first! Well, I had some problems remember parts of the tests...but Wisey was perfect! :D Plus his girlfriend Sadie was in the ring during the first half (She's a Haflinger as well - they look a lot alike but she's darker and skinnier) and they are adorable together. Anne (her rider/owner) says that one day we should do a double Dressage test with each other one day because they look so good with each other, and I think that would be awesome! Unfortunately, we are competing AGAINST each other four times in the show =O It wont be a problem though, in the beginning Dressage tests your only real competition is yourself. Sounds weird, but it's true. Plus this is Wisey & I's first test - we will probably not do very well xD Wisey will be distracted seeing all the new things and people in the stands and I will be nervous and do something stupid and forget the test. YUP! :D But it's for fun, so as long as we don't get disqualified i'm good. If we do i'll be extremely embarrassed :P (Of myself, not Wisey)

Also, Wisey has a new stall with a RUN so he can be nosy and look at everything :) He loves it.

RIP Grandma

My Grandma died very recently - She fell and broke her hip and shoulder, and during the surgery there was a blod clot, causing a stroke. Later in the day she had a heart attack. She was in a coma for days, and when she came out she had lost the ability to speak and could only move her eyes and one arm. She held on for much longer than the doctors thought she would, but she started pulling the tubes out and eventually she passed away. As sad as I am that she's gone, i'm very glad she's out of pain. She was in a LOT of it, and they wouldn't give her morphine because of legal reasons which I think is BULL. She was in PAIN. :/
The Wake wasn't bad actually - I loved seeing family that I hadn't seen in a long time - my cousin Matt I hadn't seen in YEARS.. as in, 7 or so! Kieran ran around being adorable, so that was a happy distraction. The funeral, however, was horrible. Seeing so many people I love cry and feel so miserable was heartbreaking. I hated it, so much. And of course, in the middle, my nose decided it had to start gushing out blood. Thank you for that, nose. When they buried her, I gave Kieran a flower and he threw it into the grave (and he's only 19 months!) it was sad, but very very cute. He really is a blessing.

Birthday Party

I turned 18 recently (September 15th) and what does that mean? TATTOOS of course! So, my very first is my horse's name. He means so much to me, you don't even know. I want to get collar bone tattoos as soon as I decide on WHAT to put there (Have to be 110% sure ahaha) A picture on both sides, and I want them to correspond. That's all I know so far :)


Anyways, my party turned out very awesome! I was worried no-one was going to show up so I was very happy when almost everyone came :) Jay & Corey of course. Cianah & Abby from RSS :D Beau, Randy, Clayton, Kristen, Molly, Chelsea, and my Aunt Sue and Pat (who aren't actually my aunts - oh well ;))
It was wonderful and AHHH! Jay has pictures - i'll post some later when he sends them to me :D

Basically: Sue and Chelsea are dangerous to play Ping-Pong with, but me and Clayton kick buttt - Super Smash Bros is more fun with lots of people - Cianah and Abby are adorable and I love them - For some reason men like stripping at my house - watching HELP in the middle of a storm<33 - Beau spending the night is very fun - aaaaaand I LOVE MY FRIENDS :D Yeeep.

BATMAN OR SPIDERMAN?

Meeting Eoin Colfer and Ellen Hopkins

 This guy was acting as Artemis Fowl (The main character of Eoin Colfer's books Artemis Fowl - what he's most famous for) He was pretty clever! The kids would ask him questions and he answered them really fast, and they were all things Artemis would say - so AMAZING IMPROV :D And he was suppose to keep a straight face the whole time, and little kids were asking hysterical things.. but he didn't even smile! So awesome<3 (I look disgusting in the picture - ignore that)

 And the AMAZING EOIN COLFER :D I love him, so much. He gave a huge speech before hand and I was crying I was laughing so hard, he's HILARIOUS. Aghh, even if you don't like his books go watch a YouTube video of him talking or something - You will laugh. I guarantee it. He told me I was stylish! (Then he said "Well, if I think it looks good it's probably uncool - that's what my son says anyways) BUT he was so nice and signed my book and AHH so many run on sentences but THIS IS EXCITINGGG. :D

Ellen Hopkins - To be honest i've only read one of her books (Burned) but I loved it very much, even though it was very depressing and I cried a bunch. The way she writes and the details - Extraordinary! I want to read the rest of her books ASAP (My to-read list is two pages long though - i'll get there eventually!) Her speech was wonderful. I almost cried (She really hits your emotions). Her first book, Crank, is about her own daughters addiction to Meth, and although I haven't read it it sounds like it's been a horribly tough road, and it's still not over. And yet, she was happy! She smiled and laughed! I admire how strong and brave she has to be for that to be possible. And her Twilight imitation made me laugh :P She does not seem to like Bella very much. Her point was valid - just because your boyfriend leaves you, you shouldn't  jump off a cliff!

Soooo I love books. And the people who write them. I want to write my own, and I want it to be so great that people quote lines from it. The kind that make you think and make your own.

Japanese Festival

Saturday, Corey, Jay, Kristen and I went to the Japanese Festival. We went really late, so we missed all of the events basically, but we saw the Taiko Drums :)
We ran into Cianah (from RSS) also, so that was awesome :D
It was a fun day..we got lost in a "ghetto" neighborhood, got Ramune, and sang the HIDE YO KIDS, HIDE YO WIFE song through the whole thing. I'm going back to the festival later today (it's 6:30 AM don't ask why i'm up) so i'm pretty excited to go see ice sculptures and stuff :)

Also, go read Perks of Being A Wallflower - I could write about it for hours...and i'll put up a blog about it later - but just READ IT. <3

Fake

I don't know why I can't say no to you.

Lately,

I have no idea what to write. So I will write a short thing that happened the other day, that made me smile for an entire day.

My mom was walking Wisey, and I was off to the side and slightly behind, because I wasn't feeling well so I couldn't keep up. And Wisey is kept on a loose line, because he walks very nicely. So he slowed down and side-stepped until he was walking next to me. And he walked next to me the entire time. And he walks VERY fast, and I walk VERY slowly. It just made me extremely happy.

Sickness/Dressage

I have been incredibly sick lately, so sorry for not updating! Made my RSS video:



Anyways, it's getting pretty close to my first dressage show! I still have yet to find a helmet, dress coat, and boots that fit :/ Those are kind of important. Nothing fits me, ever. I'm in between kids and adults. Meh!

I have Intro Test A memorized, but I think I might go ahead and enter Intro Test B as well, but I don't know it, so I had better learn it soon ;) They are super easy, just working walk, trot, and halt. A little bit of free walk, but Wisey ALMOST has it down.
Once i'm in shape I think we can fly through training level...because to be honest I could ride those tests years ago, I was just in jumpers xD Wisey needs to balance himself out though, so he can get his left lead canter without struggling so much. His right lead is flawless, and he can counter-canter on it like nobodies business xD He already can extend his trot flawlessly as well! He is a very fast learner, and he LIKES to learn. Once he learns something, he does it to show off :P So cute.

Anyways, I have decided that the actual show is going to be a million times easier than buying the attire for it LOL. I'm going to look like a clown in all the fancy clothes, because let's be honest... i'm NOT fancy. Hopefully everyone will watch Wisey because he is FABULOUS. :)

Hmm.. don't really know what else to say...OH. I went to my sisters Bachelorette party today! She is getting married this weekend and moving out the weekend after that. I'm the wedding photographer and i'm so nervous that i'll screw up or lose the pictures or something O_o I'm going to miss my little boo when he is gone<333

Blank.

I have nothing to say. My mind is as blank as my stare.
Thoughts whirling like a tornado, and yet, none of which I want to speak.
Someone tell my mind to shut up.

Funeral

Drew's funeral was today. Chelsea drove me, and I realized that this has brought so many people together. People who love Drew. I also realized that I need to keep in touch with people, to keep friends close. At the Church, through the tears, there was also laughter. Because you can't hear a story about Drew and not laugh. One of the best?

He was in a foreign country at a wedding, did not know the language or anyone there, and what did he do? He danced. He literally went and did the soldier boy, moon walked, you name it. And according to his cousin, his moves were so awesome that the everyone stopped and formed a circle, watching him. But his cousin had an allergic reaction and was upset, wanting to dance. What did he do then? He went over and made sure she was okay, and said, "This is the opportunity of a lifetime, being here. So if you want to dance, we shall dance."

He was much too good for this world.

I met his mom at the Wake, and saw her again today, and I can tell where he gets his awesome-ness from. I wish her all the best, and I hope she knows that her son was one of the greatest kids I ever met, and ever will meet.

RIP Drew, i'm pretty sure heaven was boring before you arrived. I expect you to liven it up<3 :)

Awaken

Drew's Wake was today. Suzy & Sam went with me, which I appreciate very, VERY much.
It was VERY Drew. There were glo-sticks in the flowers, and they were playing Green Day during the slideshow. The quote was from Lady Gaga - Brown Eyes. It fit so well. He loved Lady Gaga.

 I wasn't expecting an open casket, and he was holding his sunglasses and his favorite hat so when I went up I started crying in front of everyone :/ Then, while hugging Clayton, I SNORTED extremely loud. My life. They laughed and smiled, at least. It was amazing to see how many people loved him though, and there are a LOT of people that did.
RIP Drew, I will never forget you.

Tomorrow is the funeral, and i'll be there with Chelsea<3 Hopefully I don't embarrass myself again.

Native American

Jay came over today, and we took many pictures, which turned out AMAZING. I'll put a lot of them up on tumblr: www.whattawiseguy.tumblr.com If you want to see them :) I finished the headband, so I used it for some of the pictures.

I love them a bunch. I have some great ones of Jay but I feel like he would want to edit them himself. Maybe i'll post some later? :) I donno, I love himm.
Corey came over later and we flimed PNTM, and some random stuff for RSS.
Random fact: I'm part Native American.

Tomorrow is Drew's Wake. Tuesday is the Funeral. I'm terrified.

Crafts

I absolutely love crafts. Currently i'm working on a suede headband with feathers, and then i'm going to make a dream catcher. Here's the headband so far:

You can't see it, but it's braided. I still have to attach the feathers and figure out how to close the back. I love it a bunch so far though.

Other than that, Jay came over today, and also Sue. I love them both to death, I just thought you should know.
Drew's Wake is Monday, i'm going to bawl my eyes out in front of everyone, I just know it. If Chelsea doesn't come with me I don't know if i'll be able to step foot inside. RIP<3

RIP Drew

Rest In Peace. You deserve to be happy, you really do. Even if we hadn't seen each other lately, you are still one of my best friends and I will never forget you, ever. You were one of the nicest kids i've ever met, as well as one of the funniest. You never failed to make me laugh and smile. I'm really glad I knew you, and that I have photos and videos (We never did make out SecretSecretDino video D=) with you that will never go away. Some of my favorite memories were with you. Square dancing at homecoming together, fitting as many people as possible into your truck at one, you showing up outside my house late at night, THE FACE, switching jackets at lunch, and many many more. I love you. I really do, and I hate that you had to feel that pain. I wish I could help, I would do almost anything to have been there for you. You are amazing Drew, and words can't describe how much you deserved better.

Dave and Busters

Me and Chelsea did the baby generator thing and our baby is MEXICAN! Why? I'm not sure, maybe because it's inbred. Chelsea named it Peter! 

Anyways, my dad is ranting about how it's rigged and NOBODY can get the 500 tickets, let alone the thousand ticket bonus! And he walks away and BAM! Chelsea gets 500 tickets. Then she plays again. BAM! Thousand tickets. BEASTLY? I think so. I played next and got 500 too! AHAHAHHAA WE WIN. Anyways, I made a virtual race horse! So did my dad, and then he again complained and said NOBODY CAN WIN THESE RACES THEY ARE RIGGED. Mine won it's second race (it's skill)! It's name is Phantomhive and he has fans and they gave me a plant and a puppy, it was nice! And you get to keep a little card for your horse and you can come back and put the card in and your horse pops up! SO SWEEET.

Deal or No Deal is still one of the best games ever. Just saying.

February 17

I just got back from the stable, i'm exhausted. We let Wisey wander around the small arena then tried to get him to run around a bit for some exercise. When he started running my mom FLIPPED out and ran and practically leaped into my lap! She was holding onto my for dear life. As you know, i'm super buff and totally able to protect her ;) hehehe.

Anyways I think i'm going to work on writing a script for Help Spread Hope and hope Jay likes it, and maybe we can film in this weekend! Wish me luck on thatt, we need to get the video up real bad. I also have an idea where we can have certain people be "Advisers" for HSH, where they're chosen to help give out advice to people. Would that be cool? I dunno, it's just an idea. xD

Also I get a FREE year subscription to Young Rider magazine! (horse magazine) WOOHOO :D And so, I leave you with two pictures. One of a super muddy Wisey, and one of him looking out of his stall :)
